Can you spare a few stars?

Hi Everybody!

If you don't already know about the awesomeness of Goodreads, I urge you to click on the link and check it out. Goodreads is a site dedicated to books and book reviews. When I'm in a bookstore or at Costco and I'm debating whether to buy a book or not, I always check its Goodreads rating and reviews. It's the go-to site to find out about the buzz surrounding a book. You can friend people and see what they are reading and what they want to read.

It's like Facebook for books!

Do you hear that? It's the sound of angels singing.

The great thing about the site is you can rate and comment even if you haven't read a novel. It creates interest in a novel. One can rate a book with a 1 to 5 star rating system based simply by how interesting the synopsis sounds. You can add books to your "Want to Read" list. Often I've found interesting novels I want to read, but when I'm shopping for books weeks or months later I can never remember the title or author of the jem I'd found. Goodreads keeps track of them for you!

Freaking sweet! Book Minions!

If you have a moment, drop by. If you have two moments, friend me and share some stars with my novel Across the Wire. Add it to your "Want to Read" list. I'll love your guts forever if you do.

Stella out!

I have to say that this makes me a bit nervous. I've never rated a book on Goodreads without having read it first but I looked into it a bit and it seems that people do give it a star rating based on cover/synopsis alone, I had no idea. Makes me question the reliability a bit... My star rating is on the way!!

Jenni, I don't think it's something the pro reviewers like you do. ;) But yes, it's done a lot.
